Hanson: Man breaks into house, gets shot in face

Hanson police are investigating a house break-in on Katydid Lane last Saturday. They say a man got into an enclosed porch and tried to open a door into the house, but the homeowner confronted him. Police say the homeowner fired a handgun at the suspect, and he was shot in his face, but the injuries weren’t life threatening. The suspect was taken to Brockton Hospital and later taken to a hospital in Boston. Police say this was an isolated incident, but they say they’re continuing their investigation.
