Pembroke: Man charged with heroin, ‘molly’ possession is arrested again

A Pembroke man who was arrested last month for possession of heroin and a newer drug called “molly”, was taken into custody again this week.

Pembroke Police and members of the Old Colony Police Anti-Crime task force executed an arrest warrant for 29-year-old Ryan Lavalley last month. He was released on five thousand dollars bail, but skipped out on a court appearance Tuesday.

Armed with an arrest warrant, police spotted Lavalley on Pilgrim Road in Pembroke– he tried to run away, but was taken into custody after a brief struggle.

Lavalley is charged with possession of a Class A drug (heroin), conspiracy to violate the drug law, resisting arrest, along with his arrest warrant.

Arrested with Lavalley was 19-year-old Lawrence Binda, of Marshfield.

Binda is facing charges of possession of a Class B drug (cocaine), conspiracy to violate the drug law, and throwing litter from a motor vehicle.
