Boston: Cardinal O’Malley ordains several priests from South Shore

Cardinal Sean O’Malley ordained several new priests from the South Shore on Saturday at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston.

The priests range in age from 26 to 63, and their backgrounds include finance, law, engineering, academia, theater and business management.

Among them are Fr. Kevin Hickey of St. Clare Parish in Braintree and Fr. Mark Storey of St. Mary of the Sacred Heart in Hanover.

Five other newly-ordained priests have served as deacons in local parishes for the past year, including Fr. Jeffrey Archer of St. Francis of Assisi in Braintree.

Fr. Lawrence Tocci was at St. Bridget’s in Abington.

Fr. Karlo Hocuscak  served in Brockton’s three-church parish and Fr. Jiwon Yoon of South Korea was deacon at St. Thomas Aquinas in Bridgewater.
