Cohasset: Selectmen prepare for town manager evaluation

Cohasset Selectmen met Tuesday night, to discuss the goals and management objectives set by the board for the new town manager.

Selectmen underwent a lengthy discussion surrounding the formulation of goals and objectives for the upcoming evaluation of the new Town Manager Chris Senior.

Selectmen Chair Fred Koed spoke about the process and said, “Chris Senior started on January 13 and in his contract he says we should have goals and objectives and review them at the six month period, which would be in mid-July. That’s not that far away, and so we were talking about what could happen in the next few weeks to set some goals. We already know one of those goals is to have gone to town meeting and produce a balanced budget. That’s been done and completed successfully, so that will be on there. But there are a few other things to just make it for the 2 month mark from here, and how this all fits in to the longer range goals that we want to take up after that.”
