Marshfield: Teenager suffers serious injuries in dirt bike accident

A 16-year-old boy was Med-flighted to a Boston Hospital with serious injuries after a dirt bike accident in Marshfield on Thursday.

The Marshfield Fire Department says a 911 call came in just after noon Thursday from a homeowner on Strawberry Farm Road reporting the accident in a wooded area near his house.

Emergency officials were able to locate the boy down a path off of Clay Pit Road. He was stabilized and then Med-flighted from the Marshfield High School soccer field to the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston with serious injuries.
