Norwell: Town Meeting to vote on medical marijuana facilities in town and community preservation projects

At tonight’s Norwell Annual Town Meeting, residents will be asked about a variety of issues including funding snow and ice removal, the restoration of Jacobs Pond and the reconstruction of parts of Main Street.

The Annual Town meeting warrant has 53 articles.

The Special Town meeting warrant has just 13.

In addition to the operating and capital budgets, there are a number of Community Preservation articles on the warrant for voters to consider.

One warrant article asks voters to amend the zoning bylaw concerning medical marijuana facilities in town.

Norwell Town Meeting begins at 7:00 tonight at the Norwell Middle School on Main Street.

About David Skill

Dave Skill’s radio career began in the fall of 1964 when he arrived on the campus of Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA. Dave barely got his bags unpacked when he paid a visit to WCHC, the campus radio station. And, before he knew it, he was spending so much time as a disc jockey and news writer/reporter, it seemed like he was majoring in “radio” and minoring in academics at “The Cross”. As you might imagine, his grades reflected it! During his junior and senior years, he also worked weekends in news and as a disc jockey at WNEB, the CBS radio affiliate in Worcester at the time.
