Scituate: One contested race at annual election

Scituate’s annual election has just a single race this year – three residents running for two seats on the Board of Library Trustees as a $12 million renovation and expansion of the town library moves forward.

Library trustees Christopher Mirarchi and Karen Canfield are seeking re-election to three-year terms. Seeking one of those terms is Virginia Ayers.

There are no other contested races in Scituate.
