Marshfield: Officials set dates for Special Town Meeting and State Election

Marshfield Selectmen met Monday night and voted to open the warrant and set a date for the town’s fall Special Town Meeting and to open and close the Special Town Meeting warrant.

They also set the date for the upcoming state elections.

Marshfield Selectmen Chair John Hall announced the details.

“Special Town Meeting is going to be held on Monday, October 27. We will open the warrant for submissions on August 18 and close the warrant for submissions on August 28.”

Hall also said the board voted to schedule the date for the state elections in September. 

“The state elections will be held on Tuesday, September 9.

There’s going to be elections for Congress, Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, Treasurer, Auditor and Representative in Congress.

In Plymouth County we have Senator, Representative, District Attorney, Registry of Probate, County Treasurer and County Commissioner.”
