Marshfield: Reports of large fight, tires slashed in apartment parking lot off Rt. 139

Reports of a large fight Wednesday afternoon in the parking lot area of the Royal Dane Apartments, off Rt. 139, on the Marshfield/Pembroke line, which brought police, fire, and an ambulance.

WATD’s Ed Perry spoke with Marshfield Police Chief Phil Tavares, late Wednesday afternoon.

Chief Tavares says they received multiple 9-1-1 calls about a large fight in the parking lot, with a knife shown and reports of a potential stabbing.

He says upon arrival they found a chaotic scene with multiple people yelling at each other.

There was not a stabbing, but there was blood dripping from a person’s hand – that apparently happened from slashing tires on a Cadillac.

At least one person was arrested at the scene for a larceny earlier in the day in Pembroke.

The incident is under investigation.
