Plymouth: Victims of fatal crash on Rte. 3 are identified

State police have identified the victims of a deadly crash on Rte. 3 South in Plymouth.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. Friday near Exit 6B.

A 2012 Mercedes C300 veered off the road and into the median, striking a sign post.

The passenger, 39-year-old Travis J. Martin of Dover, was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The driver, 74-year-old Marion R. Martin, also of Dover, suffered injuries that didn’t appear to be life-threatening.

Their relationship is unclear.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
