Quincy: Young man accused of ‘drugged driving’ in crash with school bus

A man accused of being high on drugs when his car hit a school bus in Quincy, will appear in court.

Police say 22-year-old Zacharriah Peeples of Brockton was heading north on the Expressway at approximately 3:40 p.m. last Friday when he struck the bus, then took off on foot.

Peeples was arrested while trying to scale a barbed-wire fence, and he suffered some injuries.

The students aboard the bus were from Cohasset and Hingham.

Neither they nor the bus driver were injured.

Peeples will appear in Quincy District Court.
