Duxbury police are investigating a hit-and-run crash involving a bicycle and a motor vehicle.
It happened at approximately 3:00 p.m. Saturday on Tremont St., near the Marshes.
Witnesses say after the bike was struck, it collided with a utility pole on the shoulder of the road.
The cyclist, an unidentified 57-year-old local man, was flown to a Boston hospital.
The driver was last seen heading north on Rte. 3A toward Marshfield.
The vehicle is described as an older-model blue or grey Jeep Cherokee that likely has minor damage to the passenger side.
