Quincy: DOVE Domestic Violence Vigil Tonight

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and Quincy-based DOVE, Inc. is holding a vigil honoring Massachusetts victims – and survivors – tonight (Thursday, Oct. 8).

The vigil is being held at the United Methodist Church. A representative from the Quincy Police will speak about domestic abuse, and how to prevent it. Other speakers include Reverend Susan Jarek-Glidden from United Methodist and DOVE executive director Sue Chandler.

The vigil starts at 6:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church on Beale Street in Quincy.
