Cohasset: Voters to Address an 11-Article Special Town Meeting Warrant

In addition to voting on a number of housekeeping articles, Cohasset residents will be asked to transfer money from the Water Department Capital Stabilization Fund to the Water Commission and the Town Manager for a number of water system upgrades.

Another article on the warrant would supplement the town’s Sewer Department budget.

Voters will also be asked to approve a change to the elderly tax exemption that will allow residents over the age of 70 on fixed incomes to qualify for this exemption.

Town Meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00 tonight in the Sullivan Gymnasium at Cohasset High School.

A quorum of 100 is required to conduct Town Meeting business.

About David Skill

Dave Skill’s radio career began in the fall of 1964 when he arrived on the campus of Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA.
