A 10-year-old boy is back home safe and sound with the help of a sheriff’s deputy and his K-9.

Reports into WATD this morning indicated a 10-year-old boy had taken off from a home around 9 a.m. after a disagreement with a sibling, in the area of 70 Halfway Pond Road.

The description that went out said the boy was about 4’7″ tall with sandy blond hair and hazel eyes, wearing red pants and a green sweatshirt.

Plymouth County Deputy Sheriff Jimmy Creed and his dog were able to find the boy within a short time, hiding in a shed a short distance from the home.

The sheriff and Plymouth Police both had dogs looking for him.
