Marshfield: Interview with Steve Kurkjian, Author of Book on 1990 Gardner Museum Art Heist

26 years ago this month, the biggest art heist in history was pulled off in Boston at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.

Two men dressed as police officers talked their way into the museum and we able to take off with artwork valued today at $500 million.

Retired Boston Globe reporter and “Spotlight” team member, Steve Kurkjian tells the whole story in his book “Master Thieves: The Boston Gangsters Who Pulled Off The World’s Greatest Art Heist” which delves into the Boston FBI’s investigation, and his investigation into the investigation.

Steve will be speaking in Kingston Thursday night at the Kingston Senior Center at 30 Evergreen Street from 7-9 PM as part of the Kingston Library’s Spring author Talks series, which is sponsored by The Kingston Council on Aging and in part by WATD.
