Hull/Hingham: Weekend Boston Ferry Service To Resume Until Labor Day

If you are looking for a more scenic way to get around the northern South Shore, North Shore and in and out of Boston on the weekend, the MBTA’s new weekend ferry service might be for you.

MBTA Deputy Press Secretary Jason Johnson says that every weekend there will be “Fourteen round trips between Hingham and Boston’s Long Wharf, with a number of boats making stops in Hull, George’s Island, Grape Island and Logan Airport.”

Johnson says that taking the ferry is a convenient way to get from the South Shore to Boston.

“They begin hourly from Hingham and Boston and that is beginning at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. respectively and on Saturdays there will be two additional round trips. For more detailed ferry service schedules, I suggest folks visit mbta.com,” said Johnson.

The MBTA Weekend Ferry Service will run until Labor Day Weekend.
