Rockland: Multiple House Break Suspect Ordered Held Without Bail

A Rockland man is facing multiple charges for house breaks in Brockton, Abington and potentially other communities.Thirty-four-year-old Roberto Lopez is facing charges for allegedly breaking into multiple houses and stealing jewelry and other items and selling them for cash.

Court records indicate that Lopez would take the stolen items and sell them at an antique store in Whitman.He has three dozen convictions for theft-related crimes and has served time in jail. 

Lopez turned himself into Brockton District Court this week and was ordered held without bail for 90 days. He’s due back in court for a hearing August 10.
