Cohasset: Rescue Divers Recover Body of Man from Pickup Truck Submerged in Harbor

A GMC pickup truck with a body inside was pulled out of Cohasset Harbor Wednesday morning.

The man inside the truck has been identified as 38-year-old Keith P. Herzog, of Cohasset.

Responding to the scene were Cohasset police and fire, the Plymouth County Technical Rescue Team and divers from the Scituate Fire Department.

Cohasset first got word that the truck was in the water just before 5 a.m — it was pulled out around 9:48 a.m.

The office of the Chief Medical Examiner will do an autopsy but it does not appear that there is any evidence of foul play –and it’s believed that Herzog was alone in the truck as it traveled the length of the Cohasset dock before going into the water.

Cohasset police and State Police detectives are investigating.
