Marshfield: Veterans’ Group Observes 50th Anniversary On Sunday

A local veterans group will be observing their 50th Anniversary this weekend.

Chapter 35 Disabled American Veterans Club of Marshfield will be marking the milestone with an event on Sunday.

The Chapter’s Senior Vice Commander Robert Weaver tells WATD News that counselors will be on hand in the morning.

 

Then a ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. that will include a special honor from the state.

 

Counselors will be available beginning at 9 a.m. before the ceremony begins at 1 p.m. at the Chapter’s headquarters at 108 Dyke Rd. in Marshfield.

The event is free and open to the public.
