Bridgewater: Three Injured In Route 24 Crash

Massachusetts State Police are investigating a crash that took place in Bridgewater Sunday afternoon. 

Police say that at about 4:15 p.m. troopers responded to a single vehicle crash on Route 24 South near exit 15.

A preliminary investigation has determined that a 36-year-old New Bedford man was driving a 2000 Toyota Corolla when the vehicle left the roadway and crashed into the wood-line.

The crash caused both the driver and a 46-year-old female passenger to be ejected from the vehicle.

The woman was MedFlighted to TuftsMedicalCenter in Boston with serious injuries. 

The driver and a 10-year-old passenger were taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton.

State Police say Bridgewater Fire and EMS, Bridgewater Police, Raynham Police, and MassDOT assisted on scene.
