Brockton: East Bridgewater Man Convicted On Sexual Assault Charges

An East Bridgewater man was sentenced on Friday to 2 ½ to 3 ½ years in State Prison, following his conviction on child rape charges.

The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office says that on January 12, 23-year-old Kyle Spencer was found guilty of three counts each of Rape of a Child by Force and Indecent Assault and Battery on a Child Under 14 Years of Age.

Spencer was arrested after East Bridgewater Police were contacted in June of 2014 regarding an allegation from an underage female cousin who said that Spencer sexually assaulted her several times from  2007 until 2009.

In addition to his prison sentence Spencer was also ordered to stay away and have no contact with the victim, undergo a mental health evaluation, register as a sex offender and wear a GPS monitoring bracelet.
