Duxbury: Officials Fine-Tune Warrant for Spring Town Meeting

Many Duxbury residents work as attorneys, wealth managers and the like. They expect their town government to operate as a well-planned enterprise. So when department heads need a motor vehicle or building project, they know to plan ahead for it, years ahead.

Read had his department heads present their capital plans to a joint meeting of selectmen, the finance committee and the finance advisory committee Monday night. The boards will fine-tune the 24 requests totaling $1.2 million before presenting them to Town Meeting in March.
