Hanover: Recommendations from the Town Manager Act Review Committee Begin

The Hanover Town Manager Act Review Committee is starting the process of making recommendations to the Board of Selectmen.

Chairman Chris Martin explains more about what goes into reviewing a Town Manager Act:

Martin says that’s why the Hanover Board of Public Works is at the center of his committee’s current recommendations to the Board of Selectmen:

If the Board of Selectmen decides to eliminate the Board of Public Works, then they will have to formally update Hanover’s Town Manager Act, which currently mandates having a BPW.

This recommendation will be explored further at the Town Manager Act Review Committee’s next meeting, taking place sometime in the second week of February.
