Brockton: One Arrested Following Early Morning Fire

One person has been arrested in connection with an early morning fire in Brockton. 

Police say the fire took place around 2:25 a.m. Monday at a rooming house located at 9 Highland St. 

The building sustained an estimated $40,000 in damage and two people were hospitalized with minor injuries.

 The suspect is being charged with Breaking and Entering in the Night time and Domestic Violence Assault and Battery. 

Police say the suspect’s name isn’t being released at this time since it is a domestic violence case, but they say additional charges are likely.
