Hingham: Planning Board Approves Final Two Articles for Town Meeting

Marijuana zoning articles are ready to go for this year’s annual Town Meeting in Hingham.

The Hingham Planning Board approved the final two articles for Town Meeting on Thursday night, including a proposal for a total ban of recreational marijuana in town.

Planning Board member William Ramsey shares more:

Monday’s Special Town Meeting for marijuana zoning articles in Hull was a struggle after both voters and the Moderator became verbally confused when reading and addressing the articles on the agenda.

When asked if Hingham’s marijuana zoning articles are clear enough for voters to understand, Ramsey responded with the following:

Hingham’s Annual Town Meeting is taking place on Monday, April 23rd at 7 p.m. in Hingham High School.
