Washington: Canton Man Leads Delegation To Parkinson’s Forum

Advocates are gathering in DC this week to take part in the Parkinson’s Policy Forum.

Dan Harvey of Canton is one of 300 attending the forum, and is leading a group from Massachusetts.

Harvey tells WATD News that the attendees will undergo some training before they meet with Congressional representatives.

Harvey says that when they do meet with legislators one of the big agenda items they will be advocating for is the 21st Century Cures Act.

The forum, which is being sponsored by the Parkinson’s Foundation and the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, will run through Wednesday.
