Norwell: Sen. Patrick O’Connor Updates Selectmen on State Initiatives Coming Their Way

State Senator Patrick O’Conner visited the town of Norwell Wednesday night to update the town on what initiatives are coming their way from Beacon Hill.

Sen. O’Conner says Norwell is receiving extra funds for the school system and monies for a state wide tick-borne disease prevention campaign.

According to Sen. O’Conner Norwell will also receive over a million dollars in general aid.

Sen. O’Conner also amended the removal of the $100,000/year cap currently placed on the maximum number of hours a veteran can work to reduce property taxes, veterans will now be able to apply 175 hours per year towards their local property taxes.
