The Quincy College Board of Governors held a meeting last night to discuss the suspension of the school’s nursing program by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.

Tim White, a student in the program, attended the meeting which saw changes at the very top of the college’s administration.

White tells WATD News that this leaves students like himself looking for other options to continue with their education.

While declining test scores have been viewed as the reason for the decision White says there was more to it.

The school is filing an appeal but White says that’s unlikely to be resolved soon.

Mayor Thomas Koch is temporarily in charge of the school until a permanent replacement can be named.
