A guilty verdict has been handed down for a Halifax man in the death of a Revere woman.

The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office says that 34-year-old Soi Ket Dang was found guilty of Second Degree Murder in the stabbing death of 22-year-old Marissa Randall.

In November 2015 Halifax police received a report that a missing person being sought by Duxbury Police had been located at Dang’s home via a ping on the missing female’s cell phone.

She was located and returned to Duxbury Police.

During a separate investigation a witness said they saw blood and a possible body inside the home.

During Dang’s arraignment Assistant District Attorney Amanda Fowle said officers returned to the home where they made the grisly discovery.

The District Attorney’s Office says that Dang met Randall through the Meet Me App and that they agreed to meet at Dang’s home where they had a dispute over money that ended with Randall being stabbed six times.

Dang was sentenced to Life in Prison at MCI-Cedar Junction with the possibility of parole in 20 years.
