A Wareham fire has been deemed accidental.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office says there is no evidence indicating that the June 6th fire at 91 Great Neck Rd. was intentionally set.

The fire begin shortly before 11:30 a.m. and investigators determined that it started in the dining room in an area with a microscope, a laptop computer and an electrical outlet.

However, since neither the laptop nor the electrical outlet can be ruled out as possible causes, the fire will remain officially undetermined.

The joint investigation into the matter was carried out by members of the Wareham Fire and Police Departments and State Police assigned to the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
