A Marshfield man is scheduled to report to immigration officials today after months of uncertainty.

Kong Xin Chen owns a restaurant in Marshfield, and has dealt with years of uncertainty; after having his home raided, being detained for 3 months in the Alabama deportation center, and then given until today to report to immigration officials.

Kong may have to leave the country in order to re-enter the US.

Kong is working to sell his restaurant, Mandarin Tokyo, so that his wife and children, who are all American citizens, won’t have another burden.
