The Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation recently awarded a $10,000 grant to Father Bill’s & MainSpring to help mothers facing homelessness.

Father Bill’s President & CEO John Yazwinski tells WATD News that the Targeted Grant allows them the flexibility to provide struggling families specific resources to help them get out of homelessness.

Yazwinski says that providing the families with these specific resources is often a more cost effective approach as compared to the $40,000 it costs per year to provide shelter to a homeless family.
