Hanson: Crash Causes Road Closure, Outages On Rte 27

Power has been restored after a car crash caused outages in Hanson.

The crash took place around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on Main St., Route 27, when a car crashed into a pole.

Hanson Police say poles were knocked down into the roadway causing power to go out in the area and road closures to be put in effect.

Crews from National Grid were called to the scene and power was restored and the roadway re-opened.

No injuries were reported.

The crash is under investigation.
