A teen is facing charges after allegedly making threats to Wareham businesses.

Wareham Police say that at around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday officers served a search warrant at 39 Onset Ave. as part of an investigation regarding someone suspected of calling in terroristic threats over the summer to several business locations.

Upon arrival officers announced their presence and knocked on the door, but no one answered.

Officer tried to open a door, but found it was barricaded.

They were able to break down a second door and gain entry where they found the suspect, 18-year-old Domenic Albanese, and placed him under arrest.

Albanese was transported to the police station for booking, then taken to Wareham District Court and was ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing on October 15.

Police say one detective was injured by a piece of wood that became imbedded in his arm as they were breaching one of the doors.

That detective was taken to Tobey Hospital where he was treated and released.
