Quincy: Two Arrested On Drug Charges In Brewers Corner

Two people are facing drug charges following their arrest in Quincy.

Police say that at around 6:20 p.m. Tuesday their Drug Control Unit was conducting surveillance in the Brewers Corner section the city when they observed a possible drug delivery on Water St.

The vehicle was stopped and a K9 performed a sniff of the vehicle, which lead to a search that recovered 15 bags of a substance believed to be heroin/fentanyl weighing roughly 55 grams.

The driver, 29-year-old Jesse Cirelli of Taunton, was arrested and charged with Trafficking Class A (Fentanyl) >10 Grams, Trafficking Class A (Heroin) >36 Grams , Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substances Act, Possession of Class B with the Intent to Distribute, and motor vehicle charges.

His passenger, 22-year-old Jonathan Greene of Stoughton, was arrested and charged with Trafficking Class A (Fentanyl) > 10 Grams, Trafficking Class A (Heroin) >36 Grams, Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substances Act, and Possession of Class B with the Intent to Distribute (Subsq. Offense).

Both individuals were scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday morning in Quincy District Court.
