Hingham: Two People Arrested on Drug Charges after Traffic Stop Flight

Hingham Police arrested two people on drug charges after a woman tried to flee from a traffic stop.

On Thursday morning, Officer Bryan LoBianco pulled over a vehicle on Lewis Court for an inspection sticker violation.

LoBianco returned to his cruiser and learned the driver, 35-year-old Jennifer Gramm of Braintree, had an arrest warrant. Gramm refused to step out of her vehicle, and began to drive away.

The passenger tried to put the vehicle into park, but it slowly drove off the road, onto a lawn, then back onto the road. The woman ran from the vehicle and was arrested nearby. The man remained in the vehicle.

Norwell K9 Officer Nathan Morena responded with his partner Izak. Several pills and small bags suspected to be heroin were found in the vehicle.

Gramm was charged with counts that include Resisting Arrest, Failure to Stop, Negligent Operation, two counts for Possession of Heroin, three counts for a Class E Substance (Gabapentin, Suboxone, Adderall), and one Count for Possession of Oxycodone.

44-year-old passenger David Nubar of Holbrook was charged with possession of a Class E Substance – Gabapentin.

Both were arraigned at Hingham District Court.
