At CRAFTBOSTON over 200 artists will be exhibiting jewelry, ceramics, baskets, fiber, glass, studio furniture, art-to-wear, wood, metal, leather, paper and sculpture. If you need a gift for yourself or someone else this is the place to go for something truly unique! The show runs Friday, March 25th through Sunday, March 27th.
A Taste of Metro South will tempt your taste buds and delight your senses. Ccelebrate living and working in the Metro South region. Sample tastes from area restaurants. Discover cultural and community organizations. Enjoy live entertainment by local performers. The fun happens at The Shaw’s Center, 1 Feinberg Way, Brockton on Wednesday, March 23rd from 5:30 – 8:00pm.
Regal Cinema at the Independence Mall in Kingston has some fantastic movies playing. Red Riding Hood (rated PG-13) is a gothic imagining of the classic fairy tale. A young woman is confronted by a werewolf and a teenage love triangle is in the mix. Starring Amanda Seyfried, Julie Christie and Gary Oldman (of Harry Potter fame).
Limitless (rated PG-13) is a drama about how an unsuccessful writer’s life is transformed by a top-secret “smart drug” called NZT. This drug allows him to use 100% of his brain and become a perfect version of himself. His life’s on the line when mysterious stalkers will do anything to get their hands on his stash of NZT. Robert Dinero, Bradley Cooper and Abbie Cornish star in it and we all know Dinero ROCKS!
The 30th Annual Duxbury Spring Antique Show is this Saturday and Sunday, March 26th and 27th at Duxbury High School and benefits the Duxbury High School Athletic program. This show features over 50 quality dealers. Appraisals of artwork and antiques will be offered on Sunday, March 27th from 11am to 1pm for $5 per item or 3 items for $10. Duxbury High School is at 130 St. George Street.
