Day 2 – August 19th, 2011 – Friday

Sorry… I had a busy work day at the station.

Day 3 – August 20th, 2011 – Saturday

I showed up to see that Tiny and Sons Auto Glass of Pembroke had removed the windshields.

Today I spent about three hours working on the car with help from Bill Carpenter Jr. I started to remove a few of the door panels. I am starting to get really excited. I also tried on the helmet for the first time! Thanks to Jonathan from the Whitman DPW. He works with my Dad and is lending me one of his helmets.

Day 4 – August 21st, 2011 – Sunday

Today was a great day! I hired my Dad, “Big Steve”  to help me remove most of the interior.

We used the “saw-zall” equiped with some purchased metal blades to cut out most of the “guts” of the doors.

We also had to take out the driver and passenger side windows. That was fun!

Everything from the back-seat, to the carpets, and  door-panels had to be removed. We also removed the head-lights and tail-lights.  We found like 4 dollars in change behind the seats!
