The Love Your Library campaign brings together storytellers with compelling anecdotes to support what we believe is an invaluable, and increasingly endangered, institution.
It’s a series of short vignettes from authors, librarians, policy makers and local library lovers about memorable moments in their lives that illustrate the enduring significance of libraries. We’ve put together a collection of nationally recognizable names (among them the late Ray Bradbury, Dennis Lehane, and John Irving, to name a few) to tell their stories.
In addition, we’re created a series of features on local libraries which highlight the library’s history, future, and what it can offer the community. Because we know that libraries aren’t just about storybooks—they are about giving people the resources and community support to help people find their own happy endings.
So, join us! And show your library some love.
