The event is being held Sunday evening at Temple Israel of Boston in the Longwood section of the city. The forum is sponsored by the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization.

Organizers say they want to press the four candidates – Republican Charles Baker, Democratic incumbent Deval Patrick, independent Timothy Cahill and Green-Rainbow candidate Jill Stein – on everything from respect for all religious faith to exorbitant interest rates charged by banks.

The faith leaders also say they’ll ask the candidates for their plans to improve urban schools, including those in minority communities.
