Ronald A. Papa, President of Legacy Advisors Wealth Management, is a well-known financial educator, speaker and radio personality. Over 5,000 retirees have attended his presentations, including those from Verizon, Boston Edison, Boston University, MIT, the Mass Teachers Association, The Commonwealth of Mass, and the Federal Government.
Ron has developed a specialty in advising retirees and those about to retire how to ensure that their assets are properly positioned to achieve their retirement goals; to avoid the many oversights that commonly occur, and to make certain their estate plan is in order. He strongly advocates the holistic advisory approach that his “wealth management” model employs which addresses the investment; tax; retirement income and estate planning concerns of his clients. Mr. Papa holds an MBA and is an alumnus of Boston University, and Suffolk Law School.
Ron has used his financial acumen to not only benefit thousands of South Shore retirees, but also the community, as Past Chairman of the Board of the Plymouth County Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club. Well-known locally as a band leader, Ron worked his way through college and law school as a professional musician, and then toured extensively both nationally and abroad. Ron has also served as CFO of a successful hospitality corporation from 1979 to 1993; a principal in a tax & accounting firm, LedgerPlus, from 1993 to 1996; and in his current position as president of his own firm from 1996 to the present.
Ron recruited his wife and office manager, Sharyn from a prosperous regional management career with Estee Lauder Corporation. They believe that these backgrounds uniquely serve their “client-first” philosophy. They are life-long residents of the South Shore and live on Nantasket Beach. They enjoy golfing and sailing when the weather and their busy practice allows for some leisure time. They are blessed with two daughters and five granddaughters.
