Check out the “Teddy Bear Picnic” at 10:00 a.m. at the Winslow House in Marshfield. It’s their most popular children’s event! Kids get to make their own bears, take them home, and enjoy a morning of games, songs, and family fun. Reservations are required and the fee for this event is $10 dollars. Check out the Marshfield Recreation Department’s “Summer Concert & Entertainment Series” tonight at the Village at Proprietor’s Green in Marshfield. Tonight at 6:00 p.m., it’s “Quintessential Brass.” This professional brass quintet has performed at countless schools, concert halls, bandstands and gazebos across New England. Their repertoire includes Classical, Jazz, Ragtime, Dixie-land, Rock, Latin, as well as music from TV and movies. The current repertoire highlights American composers, groups and musicians, featuring the music of Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin, John Philips Souza, and the Big Band era.
