Check out the 23rd Annual Festival of Trees to benefit Cranberry Hospice November 30th through December 2nd at Plimoth Plantation. Friday hours are 10am to 9pm. Saturday and Sunday hours are 10am to 5pm. The Festival of Trees celebrates the joys of the holiday season and supports the care given by Cranberry Hospice. Come see many trees, uniquely decorated by talented individuals or groups from local communities. As you enter the Festival, you are greeted by a 15 foot giant, the Tree of Lights, whose candles glow in memory or in honor of loved ones. Stroll among the remaining trees while you enjoy the varied entertainment, make a wish with Santa or purchase a butterfly to benefit the Children’s Bereavement Program.For more information, visit www.cranberryhospice.org/festival/

How would you like to have lunch with Santa? Bring the family down to Colony Place in Plymouth to the T.G.I. Fridays on Saturdays and the Red Robin on Sundays for a visit with Santa from 11am to 2pm. Saturday December 1st, 2012:
Calling all Reindogs and kids of all ages! It’s time for the Reindog Parade and the 8th Annual Holidays on the Green at the Pinehills in Plymouth today from 1 to 5pm. Get in the spirit of the season with free, family fun including visiting Santa from 1 to 5 at the Post Office, cookie decorating from 1 to 5 at TD Bank, the Reindog Parade at 3, and the Christmas Tree Lighting at 5pm on the Village Green. Sunday December 2nd, 2012:

Check out “Christmas on the Common” this afternoon from 1 to 4 on the Bridgewater Town Common. It is a great way to get into the holiday spirit! Bring the whole family to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus and get your photo taken, pony rides, holiday music, food and hot drinks. Admission is FREE. It’s the Annual Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting in Marshfield today from 2 to 5pm at Library Plaza. Train rides, cookie decorating, Santa, moon walks, raffles, music, crafts, petting zoo and so much more. At 4:45pm, Santa will organize and lead the parade from Library Plaza to Dandelion Park, for hot chocolate, cookies and a tree lighting ceremony. Good for all ages.
