Weekend Events:
Christmas at the King Caesar House-“A Christmas Carol by Dickens” – Saturday December 15th and Sunday December 16th from 12 to 4pm. Rooms will be decorated to reflect the settings or characters of the book, “A Christmas Carol by Dickens.” The house will be open to the general public for tours. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students/seniors & children under 6 are admitted free. The King Caesar House was built in 1809 for Ezra Weston II. Weston was known as “King Caesar” for his worldwide preeminence in shipbuilding and shipping during the early 19th century. The King Caesar House is located at 120 King Caesar Road in Duxbury. How would you like to have lunch with Santa? Bring the family down to Colony Place in Plymouth to the T.G.I. Fridays on Saturdays and the Red Robin on Sundays for a visit with Santa from 11am to 2pm. Saturday December 15th, 2012:
Santa’s coming to Hull today at 1pm and he’s arriving by helicopter! See Santa and his elves arrive in their very own, reindeer-powered helicopter at the Hull Livesaving Museum! Santa will have special, elf-kissed candy canes for every child and adult who arrives to wish him a happy holiday. He’ll be back in the air, heading for Boston Light, by 1:45pm, to please come help us celebrate this happy moment when Santa’s back in Hull. Bring your own camera for photo ops with Santa! Check out the “Scrabble for Kids” event today at the Plymouth Public Library at 2:30. Children ages 6 and older are invited to join in! Bring a friend or meet someone new at the library to play. Scrabble and Junior Scrabble board games will be available in the Children’s Room. This drop-in program is free and registration is not required. The Marshfield Recreation Department wants to let you know about a “Let’s Go” event today. Meet at the recreation department at 900 Ferry Street in Marshfield at 8:00am. You’ll first get to review the route and then enjoy a nice walk in the woods. The cost is $5.00 per family. Limited space. For more information, call Ned Bangs at  781-834-5543.

Check out the “Famous LiL Chef” event in Marshfield today from 3 to 4pm. The event is geared for children ages 5 to 11. Put your chef hats on and create your very own personal pizza. Use your creativity to Make It, Bake It and then Eat It! Juice, soda and pizza toppings included. Be sure to bring a camera so you can take a photo of your masterpiece! Marshfield Famous Pizza, $8.00 per person
