Check out the “Feed the Animals” event today at 10:00am. Visit as the naturalists take time to stop and visit with all of the animals and give them what they need most – food! How a walk? The Hanover Twilight Walking Tour is today at 5pm at the Stetson House Museum at 514 Hanover Street in Hanover. Did you know that the original town hall burned to the ground? What about an alleged ghost in the Congregational Church? This twilight walking tour will unearth stories of Hanover Center’s intriguing past. Tickets are $15 per person/$10 member. Sunday March 3rd, 2013:
Bring the whole family to the Maple Festival today at the South Shore Natural Science Center from 11am to 4pm. A sweet day is planned as you’ll have the opportunity to explore maple syrup history, culture and production. Enjoy the process from start to finish as you help tap the trees for sap and then watch how it is boiled into syrup. The day will include scheduled woodland walks for tapping, sweet treats and fun crafts and activites.$8 or $5 for members of the South Shore Natural Science Center.
