Saturday, June 15, 1:00pm – 2:00pm. Swamp Tromp!: Use our nets and buckets to discover what lives in the waters of Wompatuck. Please follow park road down to Boundary Pond where we will meet.
Sunday, June 16, 10:00am – 11:00am. Lovely Leaves: Join us for a summer leaf walk and discover that all leaves have unique features. Participate in a leaf scavenger hunt and make a leaf rubbing to take home. Meet at the Visitor Center.

Enrollment for the Summer Fun Vacation Program at the Soule Homestead Education Center is now open. Parents of children ages 5 to 10 are encouraged to register early as space for the popular farm-based educational program fills up quickly. The program features outside exploration of the natural environment on a 120 acre working organic farm and is scheduled to run every Tuesday through Fridayfor seven weeks starting July 9th and continuing through August 23rd from 9:30 a.m. to 12 Noon. Guided by a professional staff, the hands-on interactive environmental program is designed not only to spark a child’s interest of our natural world, but to also to have fun while building self-confidence and develop social skills. Children will hike, try their hand at organic gardening, create nature inspired arts and crafts, and exercise mind and body with interactive games. Each day offers a different adventure along with a variety of theme-related activities. Children may attend any day or combination of days and membership is not required to participate. Per day price: $13 member, $15 non-member; 4-day week price: $50 member, $58 non-member. Check out “Winslow House Kids Fridays” today in Marshfield. There will be an Animal World Experience show at 9:30 and 10:30am. It’s an animal invasion at the Winslow House! In this popular program Matt Gabriel from “Animal World Experience” www.animalworldexperience.com will share amazing facts and stories while every child gets the opportunity to interact with the animals. Approximately 45-60 minutes in length, it features 5-6 animals plus 1 no-touch animal. There will be offering 2 sessions, each session accommodating up to 30 children each session. South Shore Art Center Arts Festival in Cohasset celebrates its 58th year and showcases craft and fine artists from New England and beyond. In addition to almost one hundred juried exhibitor booths, the Arts Festival features a juried art exhibition and members’ show, live music performances, artist demonstrations, children’s art activities and a young artist exhibition.
