How about the Norwell Farmer’s Market at the South Shore Natural Science Center? From 2:00 to 6:30 pm local vendors will be offering their artisan crafts, foods and locally grown fruits and vegetables, while music and children’s activities are provided. Something for the whole family!

The Paragon Park Carousel in Hull is offering Friday morning story time at 10:30 am! Today’s (July 25) story is “Snow White”. Sunday, July 27th:
“Bats in the Band Family Fest” in Duxbury today at 10:30 a.m. A world premiere reading and performance of New York Times bestselling author-illustrator Brian Lies’ book, Bats in the Band, along with a book signing, instrument petting zoo, Big-style piano mat, Bat Mobile’s interactive pipe organ, food and more.  Discounted signed books available for purchase in advance. The event takes place at the Duxbury Town Green on Washington Street. $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12. The cost for a discounted signed book is $17. Upcoming Events:
Wednesday nights in July – the Derby Street Shoppes in Hingham will be hosting free movie nights this month. Movies begin at dusk around 8:30 pm, bring your lawn chairs and bug spray and enjoy the free movies at Hidden Pond.

Project Arts will be holding free summer concerts every Wednesday night through August 27 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm at Pilgrim Memorial Park – there will be a different musical act each week in the brand new amphitheater!

The Hingham Shipyard is offering free movies every Thursday night and free concerts every Friday night! Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and sit in the amphitheater on the water – the shows start at dusk.
