Norwell Summer Fest is back, in Norwell center today from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. There will be live bands on 2 stages, attractions and games, food and concessions, dance performances, a touch-a-truck and much more! Sunday, June 18, 2017:

How about breakfast at Great Blue with Dad, today? Celebrate Father’s Day with a brunch followed by a nature hike from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Meet at Trailside Museum in Milton for a light breakfast featuring pastries, bagels, yogurt, fruit, juice, milk, and a variety of hot beverages. Afterwards, go on a guided hike to the top of Great Blue Hill with a naturalist. You’ll search out animal tracks and sign, take a look at some of the cool rocks on the hillside, and enjoy the view at the top of Eliot Tower. Kids 3 and older are invited to participate and the cost is $15 for adult members, $10 for child members, $18 for adult non-members and $13 for child non-members. It’s the third Sunday of the month which means it’s time for the Cranland Airport Fly-in breakfast in Hanson from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausages, coffee and orange juice all for only $6! It’s a great morning to see some neat planes take off and fly-in at Cranland Airport!

The Children’s Museum in Boston costs $1 to enter Fridays from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.! Current exhibits include Explore-a-Saurus where you can assume the role of scientist and explore the evidence, the science and the features that make dinosaurs so compelling. You can touch and measure a fossil footprint and learn what clues it gives about a dinosaur’s size. You can manipulate a full-size model and learn how they moved and rearrange bone puzzles to learn about dinosaur anatomy.
