The Paragon Carousel Summer Hours run Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Hours on Friday, June 9 are 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., Saturday June 10 from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

The Brockton Fair runs until Sunday, July 9th at the Brockton Fairgrounds. The fireworks nights are July 8 at 10:45 p.m. and the demolition derby is July 7 & 8 at 7:00 p.m. There will be rides and games, nightly bands, an exotic animal petting zoo and livestock exhibits. Saturday, July 8, 2017:

Family Fun Days on Duxbury Beach are back! From 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. today, join celebrated artist Marcia Ballou for a Beachscape Collaborative Mural as she invites kids of all ages to add their talents to a piece she’s working on illustrating the bounty of the beach. Last year’s edition of this installment was the highlight of the summer! This is a free event and registration is not required. You’ll meet on the east end of the Powder Point Bridge in the small parking lot behind the guard house – take a right after you cross the bridge. Have you ever wondered what it takes to build a toad a home? Stop by the Blue Hills Trailside Museum in Milton today from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and you’ll find out! For kids ages 3 – 18 years of age you’ll build and decorate a flowerpot based toad home to add to your yard. Materials for each home are $5 and you’ll receive construction help and decoration advice from the staff. Registration is not required, pop in and get building! The $5 is a materials fee for one toad home and does not include museum admission. Click HERE.

The countdown to Christmas is on for some people but you don’t have to wait until December to celebrate! Simpson Springs in Easton is Christmas central today, celebrating Christmas in July from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. You can have your photo taken with Mr. & Mrs. Claus from 10:30 – 1:00 p.m., live music with Matt Browne from 11:30 – 1:30, puppet caroling with Wild Wood Creations, a limbo contest and face painting, too.

Have you ever visited World’s End at night? Nothing says summer like being outside and exploring nature and now you can during the World’s End Full Moon Hike Series Sunday from 8:00 – 9:30 p.m. The gates will be open after hours for you and your family and friends to accompany a World’s End Ranger for a full moon hike. With the moon lighting the way you’ll share in an information discussion about both the significance of each month’s moon as well as unique World’s End facts. You may spot a white tailed deer, red fox, raccoon, barred owls or other nocturnal wildlife native to the World’s End woodlands. Bring a flashlight! The hike will start at the gatehouse, walk along the Weir River, travel the carriage roads and tae in the views from Planter’s Hill. Preregistration is required and space is limited. The Children’s Museum in Boston costs $1 to enter Fridays from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.! Current exhibits include Explore-a-Saurus where you can assume the role of scientist and explore the evidence, the science and the features that make dinosaurs so compelling. You can touch and measure a fossil footprint and learn what clues it gives about a dinosaur’s size. You can manipulate a full-size model and learn how they moved and rearrange bone puzzles to learn about dinosaur anatomy.
